Auric Steele is an attorney licensed in Georgia, Kentucky, and California. He earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Louisville's Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. Auric has a diverse multi-state practice which involves state and federal litigation as well as transactional representation in the various jurisdictions in which he practices.

Auric has a background in music and the arts, with his primary interest in law stemming from his experiences in the entertainment industry. In keeping with his background, Auric views creativity as a necessary quality for an effective lawyer and strives in his practice to follow the example of Louisville's own Justice Brandeis, the epitome of a true legal craftsman.

During law school, Auric was President of the Brandeis Intellectual Property Association ("The Brand") and served as Editor in Chief of its online publication: THE BRAND: the Internet Magazine of Intellectual Property. Auric continues to serve as a writer, editor and consultant to this ongoing collaboration between students and graduates of the Brandeis School of Law.

After law school, Auric practiced law in Georgia where he honed his courtroom and transactional skills. As a trial attorney, Auric spearheaded the investigation of a complex fraud and embezzlement scheme. He prosecuted the case by means of the Civil RICO Act and pursued parallel felony charges on behalf of his client. Auric's efforts resulted in a criminal conviction and an award of restitution for the client, as well as recovery of substantial real and personal property.

Auric is a member of Seiller Waterman's litigation team, and also practices in a variety of transactional areas including intellectual property and entertainment law
