Michael Hymson practices in the firm's section of estate planning and administration and estate and income taxation. Prior to joining one of the firm’s predecessors in 1985, he worked as a CPA for a “big eight” certified public accounting firm in Houston, Texas and Louisville, Kentucky in its tax department.
Mr. Hymson graduated cum laude from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 1977 and from the University of Louisville with a major in accounting in 1973. While at law school, he was Executive Editor of the school’s law review and a member of the school’s honor society, The Brandeis Society. He served as a co-chair of the Taxation Section of the Louisville Bar Association in 1992. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Louisville.
Michael Hymson's practice is devoted to family wealth planning which includes estate planning and administration, retirement planning and tax planning for individuals and businesses.
